Dear Detachment Members & Friends,
You are cordially Invited to our MCL-SCD 245th Marine Corps Birthday Dinner Celebration at Luciana’s Ristorante set for Tuesday, November 10 from 6:00PM-9:00PM. The cost of a Dinner Ticket or to Sponsor a Marine is only $55/Person. Active Duty Marine Members or Active Duty Associate Member Spouses in Good Standing, with their Dues Paid, attend without cost. Spouses who are not Members may attend by purchasing a Dinner Ticket for the above price.
Our wonderful Dinner Celebration will be held in Luciana’s Open Air, Tented, Sanitized, Coronavirus Protocol Sensitive, Outside Venue to assure our guests a safe and healthy environment. The layout of the area and spacing of the tables adheres to and embraces good social distancing guidelines. Due to limited seating, no more than 50 guests will be in attendance.
During the Cocktail Hour (Full, No- Host Bar) we will offer light Hors d’oeuvres-Bruschetta, followed by a Set Menu-Plated Dinner which will include: Choice of Salad-Insalata di Case or Insalata di Caesar, Entrée’ Choice of One-Pollo Parmigiano, Farfalle Contadina, Salmon alla Griglia, or Spaghetti Bolognese. When seated at your tables, additional House Wine may be purchased for $5/Glass or $20/Bottle at the Bar.
The Evening’s Program will include the following: The reading of Gen Lejeune’s Marine Corps Birthday Order #47, Viewing of the Commandant of the Marine Corps’ Video Message, the Cutting of the Cake by the Oldest & Youngest Marines Present, followed by a Champagne Toast to the Marine Corps, Guest of Honor-Speaker, and the Singing of our Marine Corps Hymn. Mark Montgomery of Mark Montgomery Photography will be on hand to take photos of couples flanked by our American and Marine Corps Flags. Candid shots may be viewed on our Website via a Montgomery Photo Link shortly after the conclusion of the Event. As an added bonus, we are also blessed to have Rick Burgess-Owner of Black Tie Events on hand to provide easy listening music plus the audio and visual segments which are an integral part of the program. We would encourage you to engage and support Mark & Rick as you plan your Holiday Events. Both are 5 Star Professionals
